black pigment comes off and stains hands October 14, 2009 Amnia (USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
i bought these gloves so i could have my own gloves while taking a motorcycle safety course. i wore the gloves for 4 hours on a Saturday and another 4 hours on a Sunday. I found several problems with these gloves:
1. the fingers were too short. i usually wear a size large and these were size large.
2. while the gloves do have a few mesh vents, these gloves do not breath. my hands were drenched in sweat.
3. sweat evidently causes the black pigment in the gloves to come off and stain the hands. the black pigment has a higher affinity for human skin than for the gloves as it would not come off my hands, even with soap and water.
4. in the safety course it was mentioned that good motorcycle gloves should not have their seams on the inside, as they will rub against the skin causing irritation. these gloves have most of the seams on the inside.
5. after wearing the gloves for a total of 8 hours, they were rags and my hands were a red, black, and raw mess.
NICE July 10, 2009 Josemaria Marrero they are very good! now, I recommend to them that they buy them a greater stature to which they need, its measurement is small. But they are very good in relation price/value
Cool for warm weather riding, but poor design leaves knuckles vulnerable June 29, 2009 Strom Rider (San Francisco, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was looking for a pair of gloves to use in warm weather, and these are good for that since the mesh allows lots of air through to keep the hands cooler. However, for motorcycle gloves, they're poorly designed - the leather on the fingers is cut opposite of where it should be, leaving the knuckles covered only by the mesh fabric, rather than protected by the leather. The grip side was more slippery than any other gloves I've used, and didn't feel secure on the grips. Also, after an hour of riding, some of the black dye transferred to my hands.
Great Gloves __________www.carssuck.com June 26, 2009 Stephen Leahy (Peoria, IL) Nice and cool with protection in the right places. Will have to see how they hold up.
Motorcylce Gloves May 24, 2009 G. Brooks (Western, PA) Gloves are designed well but one of the seams began to come loose the second time I used them.
